Process Breakdown

Project Role: Art Direction & Senior Motion Designer

Formats: 16×9, designed for YouTube and homepage use

I was responsible for art direction and motion execution, guiding the project from early concept and story development through final animation.

The objective was to translate existing 2D brand assets into a cohesive 3D visual experience suitable for web and video placement. Working closely with the client’s design team, the motion system was developed to extend the brand into dimensional space while maintaining visual consistency and clarity across platforms.

Through careful adaptation of brand elements, lighting, and motion language, the final piece reinforces the brand’s identity while elevating it through a polished, three-dimensional presentation tailored for both YouTube and homepage environments.

Challenges & Solutions

One of the main challenges was transforming a complex tech UI into a 3D motion graphic while preserving its clarity and functionality. Since their brand identity was rooted in flat 2D graphics, they wanted to explore the possibilities of 3D storytelling to enhance their messaging.

To achieve this, I carefully designed and animated the UI elements in a 3D space, ensuring they remained intuitive while adding depth and movement. By blending 3D motion with their established 2D aesthetic, I successfully created an engaging and visually cohesive animation that aligned with their brand while pushing it into a new creative direction.
