Project Role: Creative Director & 3D Artist

I led this project as Creative Director and 3D Motion Designer, overseeing everything from concept development and storyboarding to final animation. The objective was to create a visually engaging way to showcase the construction of the client’s new lacrosse shaft, the Alchemy.

We reinterpreted the periodic table as a design system within a workshop environment, using it to highlight the shaft’s materials and how they come together to define its performance. The result is a product-driven piece that balances technical clarity with cinematic motion design.

Challenges & Solutions

A major challenge on this project was balancing creative exploration with the client’s precise technical requirements. The concept needed to feel visually dynamic while remaining grounded in realism, particularly in how the shaft’s materials were represented. Developing the iridescent finish required extensive look development to ensure the material responded to light accurately and matched the real world product, which is an important priority for Warrior.

In addition, the workshop environment had to serve multiple purposes by grounding the product in a believable build process while creating moments to showcase its technology. By integrating the periodic table as a design system for material callouts and pairing it with practical workshop elements, the final piece delivers a clear, engaging narrative that supports both storytelling and product education.
